They do not need any attraction to cover the insects. They no need to secrete Nectar. They no need to have any fleshy leaves. They no need to have foul smell or any fragrance.
They just need large number of pollen grains which are light and non sticky that they are easily dispersed by wind.
To capture the pollen grains, the stigma should be feathery, like in Corn, and have much surface area.
