Mendel's Law of Segregation states that a diploid organism passes a randomly selected allele for a trait to its offspring, such that the offspring receives one allele from each parent
Allele or gene remain together and segregate at time of gemet formation this means that allele do not mix in hybrid. and that is the reason why the law of segregation is also called law of purity
