Answer:
R = R1 + R2 = 10 + 20 = 30Ω
V = 3 V
(i) From ohm's law V = IR
3 = I × 30 ⇒ I = 3 / 30 = 1 / 10 Ampere or 0.1 A
(ii) Potential difference across 10Ω resistor
V = IR
= 1 / 10 = 1 volt.
