I have a number 0.02358960309, which is the percentage of the total mass of an atom/ion accounted for by it's electrons. In view of this what would a suitable degree of accuracy be?
Thanks you in advance for any help.

I would correctly round it down to 0.023 although the previous answer is just as accurate.
When working with decimals, 3 significant figures is usually accurate enough. So 0.0236 would probably do.
