According to me,this is a very interesting story of Tom Sawyer.
He lives with Aunt Polly.Tom thinks that Becky had died thus he
sinks into depression. He always appears sad.His Aunt Polly is sad to see Tom
into depression. She decides to give "painkiller medicine" to Tom so that he
gets back to normal. But Tom never eats any medicine and he puts all the
medicine into a hole on the floor.
One day his Cat eats the medicine and behaves like crazy keeps jumping
everywhere.Aunt gets suspicious and she slaps on Tom's head.
The medicine was dimnishing because Tom does not eat any medicine but
he puts all medicine in a hole on the floor.
The story is particularly about the cat and the pain killer.
The medicine didn’t diminish actually.
A lesson was given to the boys to take their utmost care.
This would readily reduce the chances of occurring diseases and hence one does not need to experiment with the different medicine samples.
