Find: Which of these has the highest density?
Solution: Upon observing figures A, B and C, we find that after the block is added, the level of liquid has risen due to displacement. The liquid that has the maximum density will exhibit least displacement, while the liquid with least density will show maximum displacement.
We find that liquid in figure C exhibits the maximum displacement and liquid in figure A exhibits least displacement.
Hence liquid in figure A has the highest density d1.
