Refractive index of medium A with respect to medium B is 2.
So, we can say :
[tex]_{A}\mu_{B} = \dfrac{_{a}\mu_{B}}{_{a}\mu_{A}} = 2[/tex]
Now, Refractive index of medium B with respect to A :
[tex]_{B}\mu_{A} = \dfrac{_{a}\mu_{A}}{_{a}\mu_{B}} [/tex]
[tex] \implies _{B}\mu_{A} = \dfrac{1}{ \bigg(\dfrac{_{a}\mu_{B}}{_{a}\mu_{A}} \bigg) }[/tex]
[tex] \implies _{B}\mu_{A} = \dfrac{1}{2}[/tex]
[tex] \implies _{B}\mu_{A} = 0.5[/tex]
So, refractive index of B w.r.t A is 0.5 .
