substituting (2) in (1) we get
3y−y−26
2y=26
y=13
x=3y from (2)
x=3×13
x=39
we need to find sum of two numbers
x+y=39+13
=52
x+(x+10)= 26
2x+10 =26
2x=26-10=16
x=16/2=8
numbers are 8 and 18
