I assume that 8 is degrees
arcsin(cos8)+arccos(sin8) = (90-8) + (90 -8) = 164 degrees
If the 8 is meant to be θ (theta)
arcsin(cosθ)+arccos(sinθ) = (π/2 - θ) + (π/2 - θ) = π - 2θ
Your mistake: 8 is in degee or radian ?
I assume that 8 is in degree.
Let x=arc sin(cos8),y=arc cos(sin8)=>
sinx=cos8=>
x=82*
cosy=sin8=>
y=82*
So, the value of x+y=164*
