Strange question. When you state 'today' without specifying any date , do you expect your question to disappear after that day ? You know very well that the question will be there for everyone to see at least for four days. So what is ' today' for those who see the question on second , third or fourth day ?
Now the answer. I presume that you posted this question on 24th March which was a holiday in some states of India on account of Rama Navami. Holidays in LIC of India is regulated by Negotiable Instruments Act. Thus the holidays are not uniform throughout India (except the national holidays like 15th August , 26th January and 2nd October). They vary from state to state. So your question could have been answered by both 'yes' and 'no' depending on the state from which the reply emnated .
today is a government holiday :)
