Bile juice is a yellowish brown to dark green fluid that is normally produced by the liver of vertebrates. The functions of bile juice are:
1. It helps with digestion/emulsification of fats that is lipids, in the small intestine.
2. Bile juice also helps with absorption of fat soluble vitamins such as vitamin A, D, E and K
3. Bile juice also play an important role in excretion of bilirubin which is a byproduct of red blood cells
