Green Revolution is looses soil fertility due to increased use of chemical fertilizers.
Continuous use of ground water for tubewell irrigation has reduced the water table below the ground.
Enivrontmental resources like soi fertility and ground water are built up over mnay years. Once destroyed, it is very difficult to restore them.
