I looked it up in the dictionary and it's supposed to mean kiss.
But my french teacher told me not to use it...
WHY!?!?

There are three meanings to the word, two of which are extremely vulgar.
The noun “baiser” is the straight forward translation of "kiss".
« Donne-moi un baiser » : Give me a kiss. Often replaced by "bisou" by people your age.
The verb «baiser» is used for sexual intercourse. So better not say "Baise-moi!" and say "Embrasse-moi!".
It also is used to convey that somebody has taken advantage of you in financial or commercial terms.
“Il s’est fait baiser”: “He has been conned”.
So your teacher is correct in suggesting that you should avoid the word for fear of giving offence, being thought rude, or causing hilarity.
Salut
It's the f word...slang for to outdo, to be had; to have sex.
En argot, le verbe baiser signifie avoir un rapport sexuel avec pénétration.
To avoid ambiguity, French speakers use the verb embrasser meaning donner un (ou plusieurs) baiser(s).
Alors, remember:
Je t'embrasse...I kiss you.
and je te baisse....!!!!
à plus!
It depends on its usage. "Baiser" can either mean to kiss or, literally, to f*ck.
In my experience, French people will interpret it the way they see fit (and most often, they will interpret it as to f*ck). I always used "s'embrasser," instead, to avoid causing any problems.
It means kiss, but to give a kiss you should say "donner un bisou." In slang, baiser means to f***!
A cochon is a pig.
very modest your teacher.... he doesn't want his students to go about kissing...
