Answer: The reproduction in which fusion of gametes does not take place is know as Asexual Reproduction.
Asexual reproduction occurs when an organism makes more of itself without exchanging genetic information with another organism through sex. In sexually reproducing organisms, the genomes of two parents are combined to create offspring with unique genetic profiles.
Some of the asexual methods are binary fission (e.g. Amoeba, bacteria), budding (e.g. Hydra), fragmentation (e.g. Planaria), spore formation (e.g. ferns) and vegetative propagation (e.g. Onion).
