its consists of two phases :-
Interphase
M-phase
Interphase:- It is the resting stage between two successive cell division. its is divided into G1,S,G2 phases respectively..
.During G1 phase cell synthesis DNA and RNA..During S phase RNA and proteins are synthesized and in G2 phase cell grows in size and prepares for cell division.
in G2 phase the cell have a choice either to continue the cell division or to withdraw from it.If the cell withdraw from the cycle then it is known as G0 phase.
After interphase the cell divides mitotically or meotically..
by prophase
metaphase
anaphase and
telophase respectively
then the cell divides ie, cytokinensis
then the cell enters the interphase and this cycle repeats...
HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU!!!!!..
