WELL BOTH ARE TEMPORARY RESTORATIVE MATERIAL USED IN ROOT CANAL TREATMENT....IF ITS PINK IN COLOUR THEN IT IS CAVIT AND IF IT IS GRAYISH THEN IT IS CAVIT G....
Cavit G
Cavit G comes in a glass jar and regular Cavit only comes in a tiny tube, as far as I know. I switched about 25 years ago. The tubes always dried up about half-way through and you had to throw them away. If the stuff in the jar starts to harden just put ONE drop of eugenol in there. Don't mix it in. Just let it sit overnight and it will soften up a bit.
