It seemed like a good way to show you two different tools in one shot.
In this video I reveal something you might find surprising. Which is that I almost never use these 2 tools! You'll find out why, and pick up a couple great tips along the way.
I also needed to show more than 1 photo at a time in Elements for this tutorial. I know a lot of people wonder how to do this since Tabbed Documents were introduced in PS Elements 8.
So I give the step-by-step instructions for how to have more than 1 photo open at a time.
Shortcuts to Zoom and Scroll
As I promised in the video, here are the Keyboard Shortcuts to Zoom and Scroll in Photoshop Elements that I have used for years in the Full Version of Photoshop.
To Change any Tool to the Zoom Tool:
Hold down Control (Mac:Command) and the Space Bar. Add the Alt(Mac:Option) key to zoom out.
To Zoom In:
Press Cntrl (Mac:Cmnd) and +(plus).
To Zoom Out:
Press Cntrl (Mac:Cmnd) and -(minus).
To go to 100% View:
Hold down Control (Mac:Command) and Press 1.
To go to “Fit Screen” View:
Hold down Control (Mac:Command) and Press 0.
To Change any Tool to the Hand Tool:
Hold down the Space Bar.
Use these shortcuts and you'll be navigating Elements like a pro!
Until next time,
Take Care.
hope helps you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
