IVF stands for In Vitro Fertilization. It's a medical procedure where an egg is fertilized by sperm outside the body, in a laboratory dish. After fertilization, the embryo is then transferred to the uterus to hopefully result in a successful pregnancy.
Asexual reproduction, on the other hand, is a type of reproduction that doesn't involve the fusion of gametes (sperm and egg). Instead, a single organism can produce offspring that are genetically identical to itself. This can happen through various methods such as budding, binary fission, or spore formation.
