Mass of the solute be 'x'grams
Using the formula,
Mass%=Mass of solute/Mass of solution ×100
20= x/x+500 ×100
20(x+500)g=100x
20x+10000=100x
100x-20x=10000
80x=10000
x=10000/80
x=125grams
