because due to moisture in air the fungus start growing on it .and due to fungus a foul smell emits from its surface .
ANSWER: IF A WHEAT DOUGH IS LEFT OPEN AT ROOM TEMPERATURE, AFTER FEW DAYS IT STARTS EMITTING A FOUL SMELL BECAUSE OF THE GROWTH OF BACTERIA(FUNGI) ON IT. THE BACTERIA HAS GOT THE PERFECT ATMOSPHERE TO MULTIPLY. WE ALSO SEE SOME POURS ON THE DOUGH WHICH ARE DUE THE HYPHAE. AND AS ALOT OF STARTS GROWING ON DOUGH IT BECOMES UNFIT FOR USE. IF WE USE IT ,IT CAN LEAD TO FOOD POISONING AND IN SOME CASES EVEN DEATH.
