Polyhedrons have vertices, edges, and faces which to Euclid had dimensions of zero, one, and two respectively. If a polyhedron has faces which are regular and congruent polygons -- all of them -- and if at each vertex exactly the same number of faces meet, then we have a"regular" polyhedron.
