Answer:
Explanation:I usually stand clear of questions like this: Which one is the best? Who was the most important? etc... But I do care about science and knowledge, so against my better judgement, I will contribute to this one because I think both are equally important, and I am shocked to see how many answers suggest that math is more important.
Let me ask you a question: Let's suppose you are in the midst of a monumental headache, what would be your brilliant mathematical solution to that problem?
When you are in pain you will definitely work out your priorities very quickly and what you will probably do is put the pencil down and pick up an analgesic that was produced using the scientific method with the help of mathematics. So, which one is more important? Science? NO!!! Both are equally important, without math we would probably not have science, and without science the world would be a very different and painful place. Definitely a place without computers to indulge ourselves in various pleasurable online activities... namely, asking questions like: what's more important?
How about? What's more important? My nails or my armpits? Automobiles or wheels? My mother or my father? Doors or locks? Batman or the Flash? (Superman is undisputedly the best superhero) I can do this all day... and people can argue all day about it too. But my real question is: what do you gain from knowing which one is more important? Take interest in everything that is important, not just the very best and most important.
My intention is not bullying you, far from it, but you must understand that you have at your disposal an army of super smart people (I am not one them) that can answer really complex questions. Astronauts, scientists, professors, entrepreneurs, notorious hackers, they are here on an entirely voluntary basis answering our questions. I don't know how long this will last (I hope it will last forever), so I humbly suggest you make the best of it and start asking more interesting questions. We do not want to get them bored, do we?

Science helps us understand the world around us, while mathematics teaches us how to solve problems using logic and numbers.
Both are crucial because they drive innovation, improve our lives, and are used in fields like technology, medicine, and solving big global issues.
