I have a AMD Windows 7 Premium computer and like OMG! Right when I got it, it was brand new yet it had BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Same for my laptop. It is AMD and right when I got it it was so messed up. Brand new hadn't even been opened. My Mom's laptop was Toshiba Windows 7 and she had no problems at all with hers. Both of mine REFUSE to start the action center, firewall, nor system restore and windows defender! They won't start anything! On the computer, I can download stuff of course, but I have problems running Windows software already installed. On my laptop, I pretty much have problems installing anything at all. I've seen lots of posts sayin' AMD sucks. Well, I have one and YESH both of the 2 computers suck! How do I fix this? It's like I havn't even downloaded anything on my laptop except Mcafee Antivirus and it's all messed up. So slow... I have malware protection on the computer but I can't download ANYTHING on my laptop! The computers are complete trash and crap. I've had Windows XP computer. It was really old, slow, but it still worked. It never had any problems running software. When I got it it was completely fine. It NEVER got blue screen, and trust me I had downloaded more crap on there than any1 could imagine yet had no problems. Only problem was it was slow. The AMD computers come with a lot of crappy problems and limited memory. Get 1 virus, takes up all ur memory, and bam you have to get a new computer. Help me fix this crap now!

You really don't need to have any type of computer. Sounds like you lack any understanding of them.
My wife uses a Toshiba 17" laptop with an AMD dual core processor and it works really well. Also 3 desk top systems with AMD quad processors and they work perfect.
And the anti-virus soft ware you are using is crap and really slows systems down try Kaspersky or AVG.
Good luck
and IRQL is a problem with memory and has literally nothing to do with your AMD.
Do a windows repair and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, boot into safe mode and uninstall any 3rd party software you have running, then reboot into normal mode and re-install those programs one at a time.
LOL CPU has nothing to do with the fact you have no idea what you're buying. Sounds like you went into walmart and bought the cheapest PC possible and it happened to be AMD
I agree with what he said ^^
I read the first sentance and i knew it was all lack of computer knowledge. Sorry :D
