Explanation: The revolt of 1857 failed because first of all the revolt was not planned properly and the leaders didn't discussed with each others and had a very low amount of weapons, The British had newly modified weapons and had large amount of it. The British soldiers were trained very well. The Second Reason was that British however Became successful to stop this revolt by keeping guards at every lane or district, The revolt was only on fire at the north, but not in south or east, but was present In west. Many leaders at that time didn't helped The leaders of this Revolt . The British had a very good communication system to track the supporters of this revolt or discuss further plans and steps , Many educated Indians too didn't supported this Revolt . The Revolt of 1857 didn't got successful because it was not spread all over India.
