Answer:
(i) Parenchyma tissue is generally found in all plants.
(ii) Its cells are living.
(iii) Intercellular spaces are present.
(iv) The cell wall is thin and is formed of cellulose.
(v) A large vacuole is present in the centre of the cell.
(vi) Cells are generally rounded oval or polygonal.
The main features of parenchyma tissues are:-
(i) It provides basic support to plant.
(ii) These cell have large centrally located vacuole that stores water and food.
(iii) They are usually loosely packed so that large spaces are present between the cells
