Differences between clinical and laboratory thermometer -
1) A laboratory thermometer has a large temperature range whereas the clinical thermometer has a very short temperature range.
2) A laboratory thermometer has no kink whereas the clinical thermometer has a kink in its tube to prevent the black flow of mercury into the bulb.
3) A laboratory thermometer measure temperature less accurately whereas the clinical thermometer measure temperature more accurately.
4) the minimum temperature that laboratory thermometer can measure is 1° c whereas the minimum temperature that clinical thermometer can measure is 0.1°c
