I have a Palm Pilot I've never taken out of the box. I was just wondering if they are obsolete, or do people still use them? Didn't the Blackberry replace them?

I use my TX everyday and my unit is far from obsolete. It doubles as my mp3 / video player, ebook, WiFi sniffer and browser, emailer, Contacts, Calendar, Memo, doc, xls and ppt viewer / work platform.
Blackberries are nice however, you are limited to their network.

People still use PDA's but the phones that do the same things have taken over much of that market. I like to have my phone do certain things but I use my IPAQ for my address book, files, and work type things.
