maybe you have a bad wire just in that room
You have a loose neutral (white) wire somewhere in the circuit.
Turn the power off first. and remove each outlet until you find a group of white wires grouped together with a wire nut. This should be where the problem lies. If not, then check the connections on each outlet in the room. It is also possible it is connected in another room and then feeds into that room.
I would start at the closest outlet to the door way and go from there.
Good luck.
Sounds like a GFI outlet has tripped. Unplug everything in that room and bathroom near it. Look for a GFI outlet that the trip button has popped out. If you find it reset. Also sometimes the breaker looks like is not tripped, but it doesn't trip all the way into the off position. Move it slightly to the on position to see if it has any slack in it. If so move all the way to the off position and reset.
Maybe that rooms outlets run off a GFCI outlet. Check if there are any GFCI outlets that are tripped and reset them. Or maybe the outlets you tested are run off a light switch.
You may have a bad plug or switch in another room or hallway it may be st oping the flow.
You didn't pay you electric bill. You deadbeat!
