I looked it up on dictionary.com, which had definitions from several different published dictionaries such as American Heritage and Merriam-Webster and I can assure you that the answer is "monitored" M-O-N-I-T-E-R-E-D. I know this for sure because I read the whole article on the word and it's several meanings. The only past tense spelling for monitor is with an -ed at the end.
