How to make my nose less oily ?!?
Verified answer
I had th same problem, but then I started to steam my face twice a week, for 10-15 minutes.... Just get a bowl, boil the kettle and pour the water in the bowl and sit with your face looking into the bowl for 10-15 minutes. may be a little warm and it may make your face sweat! but its really good and drys your face and help to get rid of blackheads and spots!
Preferably wash your face at least twice a day, however those who feel like this didn't change much might increase the frequency of cleansing rituals.
# Don't exaggerate, especially if you use chemical cleansers. These can easily eliminate the moisture that is necessary to hydrate the pores. Pure water will not do harm to your complexion, if you decide to rinse the dirt from your face 5-6 per day, skip the cleanser. Moreover keep away of products that contain harmful ingredients as alcohol. Instead experiment with some organic homemade face toners.
# Increase the water consumption this will guarantee the natural detox of the organism. In order to furnish your complexion with the ultra-vital hydration drink at least 8 glass or more water per day. Avoid consuming alcohol in large amounts since these beverages might further worsen the perspiration and the oil production.
# Lemon works perfectly to get rid of the grease excess around the nose. Pour a few drops of it on a cotton pad and wipe off the oil from this area.
# The citric acid works as a natural neutralizer that reduces the extreme secretion of sebaceous glands. This is the best method to control the glowing skin effect.
# Facial scrubs are ideal means to get rid of the oily nose appearance. Whether you go for the store to get one or you make it yourself from organic ingredients, the point is to include it into your beauty schedule.
# Honey and almonds are natural tools to fight the greasy nose effect. Make a facial scrub by mixing ground almonds with a few tsp of honey and apply it to the problematic area.
# Leave it one for a couple of minutes, then rinse it off with lukewarm water to enjoy the smooth and spotless skin.
# Vinegar can also do miracles with an oily complexion. Put a few drop on a cotton pad and rub it gently into the affected spot. Leave the treatment on for 15 minutes then wash it off with cold water. This will close the pores preventing the penetration of dirt and oil into the tissues. If you have a sensitive skin you might consider reducing the acidic effect of the vinegar with a few drop of pure water
Heyy x
I Used To Have An Oilyy Nose Too x
The Best Thing I Did To Get Rid Of It Is To Use A Low Ph Moisturiser...It Works A Treat x
Hope That Helps xx
If your nose isnt somewhat oily it will peel, which looks a whole lot worse. Dont use any chemicals of "washes" they will dry out your face. Try getting oil blotters. There little pieces of paper that soak up the oil, they are made with the same kind of paper that toilet seat covers are made with. It really works. I always use before i put on make up.
Well it's good if you wash everyday, that keeps your body clean. But my bro had the same problem as you, go to the shops and by some clerasil deep cleansing toner it worked perfectly for him, but if for some reason it dosent work and it's really bothering you pop into the doctors and he'll give you some proffesional advice, good luck xx
well i used to have a really oily nose, but then i started using the right products. i like to use neotrogena oil free acne wash. It really works!! then after you use that for the best results (after you completely dry your face) use a moisturizer.
i keep in my locker blotting papers and some of my friends use compact powders that match their skin tone which absorbs the excess oils
