Hello people!
I have almost decided to buy Nikon D3200, but... still not sure.
I'm not good at photography, this will be my first DSLR. One of my friends suggested me to choose from 2 options according to the budget given by me - Nikon D3200 and Canon 600D. But she also told me that she worked with Nikon and Canon and she liked Nikon most. She also told me that the Nikon D3200 would be better for a beginner as it has Image stabilization in its body and somehow is easier to use and mentioned that it has more auto focus points than Canon.
Can anyone share their opinions on which one to choose and of course why?
I have recently looked at cameras online and found that I can buy Nikon D3200 18-55mm lens for £416 with £45 cash back but for the same price there is Nikon D3100 with the same lens plus 55-200mm lens. As for Canon there is also an option to get 1100D with twin lens for almost the same price.
Can anyone advise me on which in better to buy :
1. if to choose Nikon, then D3200 with 1 lens or D3100 with twin lens?
2. if to choose Canon, then 600D with 1 lens or 1100D with twin lens?
Please consider that I intend to use the first camera for long , with no need to change it after I'm into photography. If you know what I mean.
Thank you, people.
I hope to hear some advice/opinions soon.
Update:Forgot to say thank you for your opinions and advice. Hopefully, will get more soon.

I would go with the D3100 with two lenses. I think Nikon stuffed too many MPs in the D3200. The large files take up too much space and I think the images are noisier. The Canon is also a good choice, but I am also not a fan of the image sensor in it either. I like Canon's lenses better, but Nikon offers more in the lower end of the price range. Regardless of your decision, lenses are more important than the body so going with two lenses is the better buy. My recommendation is still the D3100 with two lenses.
I personally use a Canon 350D/Rebel XT I suggest in getting any of these you use this or similar beginner ones. You mention you were a beginner, I feel there are so,e better DSlR's to suit your ability.
I Agree, your friend doesn't know about the image stabilisation, the lens does the magic not the camera.
This question is basically like Nikon Vs Canon, and still I don't know.
My best help is to:
Review from videos and articles which Nikon CAMERA you like better, then take the given lenses.
Review the Best Canon CAMERA and take given lenses. compare these two..
Your friend doesn't know what she is talking about. The Nikon D3200 has the image stabilisation in the lenses, same as Canon. That is the best place for it.
That aside the D3200 is a great camera, but so is the 600D!
image stabilisation is in the lens on both makes, you also do not need it, ultimately the choice is yours you should go to a camera store and hold them both so you can feel the weight, if the controls are easy for you etc
remember that you will be buying into a system the more you develop the harder it will be to change makes later on
I'd go with the D3200. It's currently one of the best entry level cameras available.
if u dont need to change it after you are into photography then 600D is the machine for you.
