We are about to lay 25 sqaure metres of pavers and are supposed to be gapped by 0.5cm -1.cm..... and want to bond the pavers together and have read about a product call MAGIC SAND or SUPERSAND BOND (Polymeric Stabilizing Sand)... which has a resin in the sand and once brushed in thoroughly a light hose spray wetting the agent lightly will harden and bond together so there is no loose pavers.
But I can't find these products in AUSTRALIA...... I am told we just use sand and cement... throw on dry with a light hose in.... and told it does the same thing. I am to believe otherwise!!
I know sand and cement will hold..... but believing the other product could be better.
Does any one know where I can get any of these products and who stocks it in Australia, preferably NSW.

Im from Melbourne. There are a lot of tiling products on the market and most are available form Bunnings and Mitre 10 however I would suggest looking up a tiling shop thats near where you live. I have done a number of tiling and paving jobs in the past few years and would suggest buying a pre mixed product from a professional tile/paving store however if your going to have a go at mixing the material yourself I would use a 4 to 1 ratio of sand and cement, so for example that would be 4 shovels of sand and 1 shovel of cement.
Oh and the grout line will depend on the size of the pavers, if you have a large paver then youll want a larger grout line but unless your doing small wall tiles in a bathroom I would suggest using a 10mm gap for grout.
Good luck with the job.
