Overall the answer would be no. But, how much are you eating, and what else are you eating in addition to fruits? As with everything, no matter how good you need to apply moderation. In addition, you need to make sure that you are eating a large variety of foods in order to get the correct nutrients the body requires. Fruits are very healthy, but, your body requires a balanced diet which includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes.
Eating fruits will provide you with lots of healthy fiber which gives you a feeling of fullness therefore, you do not usually eat a lot of the other foods which can contribute to obesity or overweight.

Its like any other food. If you eat too much of anything you can gain weight from it. Most fruits have a high water percentage so you can eat a lot more of it and it still be low in calories. You are less likely to gain weight eating a diet full of fruit and vegetables because the large water and fiber content causes you to get full faster so you wouldn't overeat
RE: Is fruit fattening??????*? I learn consuming an excessive amount of fruit was once fattening, I devour tons of fruit. A day, I love consuming apple's and grapes and so on and I was once simply puzzling over am I gaining weight through consuming all this fruit. Also why can we ought to have five exclusive culmination for our 5 an afternoon
fruits and vegetables are fat free (unless you cook them in butter or something) so eat AS MUCH AS YOU WANT! they have calories, obviously, but not many and they provide lots of water! basically feel free to big out on fruits whenever you want! Well, except the canned peaches and crap. those arent so healthy...... :) If you want proof that fruit is fat-free, use a calorie counting site like sparkteens.com!
