So I guess I'm a pear shape except mine is really extreme...practically ALL of my fat is concentrated in my hips and butt whereas I'm stick thin everywhere else so I look like I had a botched surgery or something. Even if I lose weight my hips do get smaller but the rest of me does too so the effect is much the same, and I gain it back anyway. What can I do to look better and not have saddlebags?
Update:Yes, there is a genetic link and it runs in my family.
I am also actually trying to overcome my anorexia/bulimia and doing pretty well on that since I gained back 15 pounds...except now I look bad...so I just don't want to be sent into another destructive cycle, I want to be fit and muscular and healthy, not skinny fat and dying from the inside out.

run and run eat healthy do alot of cardio drink a lot of water and it might help.
Oh, don't feel bad! Okay, that would kind of suck, but hey! Your special! Go around and say " Hey, look at me! I'm special cause I'm shaped like a pear! " Believe me, becoming anorexic and bulimic just plain stinks. In fact, is worse than being shaped like a pear. Don't be too hard on yourself. And who knows? Maybe eating pears a lot will help you stop looking like one!
