The basic difference between isogamous and anisogamous are:
Isogamy ---sexual reproduction by the union or fusion of gametes of the same size and structure. Example: Chlamydomonas spp., Spirogyra spp., etc.
Anisogamy (also called heterogamy)---sexual reproduction by the union or fusion of two differing gametes (especially differing in size). Example: Oedogonium spp.

A sogamete is a gamete indistinguishable in form or size or behavior from another gamete with which it can unite to from a zygote.
A gamete is a mature male or female germ cell usually posessing a haploid chromosome set and capable of initiating formation of a isogametes new diploid individual by fusion with a gamete of the opposite sex.
Isogamous is having or involving isogametes compare heterogamous.
Obviously,anisogamous must be opposite of this.
