BPO stands for Business Process Outsourcing
It may have 2 different job profile:
1) Voice process
2) Non Voice process
VOICE PROCESS
1) Its mainly includes tasks/job profile which includes voice calls
2) There may be types of processes under VOICE:
a) Inbound process - Under this, incoming calls are received and the employee has to answer the query/problem asked by caller.
Ex: Mobile company customer care executive, Bank assistance desk etc...
b) Outbound process : Under this, Outgoing calls are made by the employee.
Ex: Callers calling from Mobile company and asking for the Bill payment,
Credit card company callers offering credit cards etc...
NON-VOICE PROCESS
1) This does not includes receiving/answering/making calls to/from others
2) This includes Documentation/processing on Computer Ex: Job processing, DTPetc...
If thinking of joining BPO, select VOICE PROCESS if
- You have good command over English/Hindi or regional language
- Like to chat a lot
- Do not get irritated by lots of calls
If you dnt like above things, select NON VOICE process
COMPARISON:
1) I personally believe NON VOICE process is better and non-hectic than VOICE PROCESS
2) The decision varies from person to person. :)

Bpo Voice Process
Voice Bpo is attending customer queries on phone, booking of airticket, railway ticket by phone, phone banking etc non voice bpo is attending customer query by mail, backoffice process for insurance clain, mutual fund processings, accounting transaction etc

Q: If a magic hotel had infinate rooms (no end to the amount of rooms) but they were all full - how would you get a room there? A: Move the person in room 1 to room 2, the person in room 2 to room 3, 3 to 4 etc, and keep going forever moving the people one room along. Then you can stay in room 1.
Voice is supporting customers over the phone.
Non-voice is providing support through emails, chats and faxes
