easy. MTX is ALWAYS a better choice than Sony. Sony lies about everything. You might get more out of the Sony for a while, but it will probably die in a few months. THAT particular MTX isn't better, but as a rule the brand of MTX is definately better than the brand of Sony
I prefer MTX speakers anytime. Dual is usually sold as an off brand. (cheaper brand) The dual may have more watts but I have known some of them to start crackling at lower volumes than some MTX and Pioneer speakers. And basically, no matter how much power your speakers are able to hold, it does no good if you don't have a great amp to push the speakers!
You know whats funny??? I know people that have both of these subs... Yes its true that MTX has great subs BUT... its dependant upon the car that you have... if you have a coupe... Dual... if you have a 4 door... get the MTX... Dual is cheaper and with a good amp you can make the Dual sound great!!!
mtx is the way to go
mtx anyday over sony. sony subs suck
